With so many yummy dishes to cook on Thanksgiving, oven space is hard to come by and goes fast. There’s the turkey, stuffing, casseroles, sweet potatoes, and so much more. And then there’s the pie. Somehow there never seems to be enough room for the pie.

My grandfather came up with this ingenius plan one Thanksgiving and since then, the tradition has stuck. It just wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without Barbeque Apple Pie.
